Our Brains Need A Break From Virtual Meetings

Did you know that our brain operates more effectively when we take breaks?

Microsoft researched the impact of back-to-back video call meetings on our stress levels. The results showed that our brain is more calmer with consistent breaks, and stress levels increase when we do not take breaks.

Breaks between meetings allow the brain to “recharge” this minimises the build up of stress from the sum of meetings.

Back to back meetings can decrease a person’s ability to concentrate.
