Your most valuable asset is your peace of mind.
Worrying takes away your peace of mind, as it causes one to constantly ponder on the ‘what ifs’ and regrets of life. Consequently, stealing you of your present moment and trying to make you live in the past or the future.
But living in the past or the future isn’t possible because the day we have been given is to live in the present.
Most things that happen in life are out of our control, but we can control our reactions in the present.
Let go of worry and take each day as it comes. In any given moment when you see worry lingering, just let go and choose to make the most of your present moment and just take lessons from past mistakes.
At least if you can learn a lesson from a past mistake, as painful as the situation was – you learnt something from it and that makes life more valuable.
Guard your peace of mind and only focus on what is in your control, that is the here and now.
